Terms of Use

1. About these terms

These terms apply when you use Focus Academic Coaching, run by [business name] (ABN [number]). By creating a parent account, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy.

2. Parent accounts

• You must be 18 or older and the parent or legal guardian of each child you add.
• Please give your children's first names or nicknames only, not their surnames.
• Keep your password and your children's Student IDs and PINs private. You are responsible for what happens in your account.
• Tell us straight away if you think someone else has used your account.

3. Free trial and paid plans

New parent accounts start with a free 14-day trial. Nothing is charged during the trial. Before paid plans start, we will show the price, what is included and how to cancel, and we will only charge you if you choose a paid plan. 4. Using the site

Please don't:

• try to get into accounts that aren't yours, or guess Student IDs, passwords or PINs;
• copy, sell or share our questions, passages or tests outside your family;
• disrupt the site, or use automated tools to access it.

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms.

5. Our content

The questions, passages, explanations and design of Focus Academic Coaching belong to us or the people who license them to us. You may use them for your own family's learning. Our tests are written in the style of NAPLAN and the Australian Curriculum, but Focus Academic Coaching is not connected with or endorsed by ACARA or any education department.

6. Results are a guide

Practice scores, progress charts and "topics to practise" are a guide to help your child learn. They are not official results and do not predict NAPLAN or school results.

7. Availability and changes

We try to keep the site running, but it may sometimes be unavailable, for example for maintenance. We may change or add features. We will tell you about important changes to these terms before they start.

8. Your rights under Australian Consumer Law

Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in these terms limits those rights. Apart from those rights, and to the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for indirect losses from using the site. [Lawyer to review this section.]

9. Closing your account

You can ask for your account and all of your children's information to be deleted at any time under Account and privacy.
